Welcome to my blog, Take 5 & Strive!

In October 2018, my older brother suggested that I post 5min daily challenges on my (at that time) newly acquired social media accounts. The inspiration behind this idea was Br. Anthony Freeman, LC. (I highly recommend checking out his book, One Step Closer.)

Also, my older sister also shared with me the saying: “Heaven is worth the awkardness.” It pushed me past my comfort zone to share challenges from reflections.

Shortly after the social media posts took off, one of my followers encouraged me to start a blog. So the seeds were sown for this blog.

I pray that this blog may help you to grow deeper in your love for God and others. I encourage you take 5 minutes out of your day to “strive for the heights.” (Blessed Pier Gorgio Frassati)
